Finally all the critics will be put to a rest.

People who are upset about the end of the solid rear axle are living in the stone age. It's about time that Ford put independent rear suspension in the Mustang.

This is the best thing they can do to bring out the most for the mustangs handling capabilities. For the longest time now we know that Mustangs have power but one thing that it was always lacking is good handling characteristics. IT took them 50 years to realize this.

That was the only concern for those drag junkies that wanted a stiffer rear end so that it doesn't twist when shooting down the strip. With this new independent rear suspension on the mustang it will give a better chance to compete against their rivals in the track.

The old generation mustang did pretty good on the track even with the solid rear axle. The independent rear would give it improvement though.

Thats true, although mustangs were never know to be road course vehicles they still did well on the track. Looking forward to what the new mustangs can do, apparently they will not only look more european but perform it too.

Good race.

It shows the Mustang can do more than just a straight line.

The current Ford Mustang Boss 302 didn't do to bad on the tarmac. I seen a video of it going against the Mitsubishi lancer Evo and it did surprisingly well.

I'll give the hard headed engineers credit for finally giving it a go with the independent rear suspension.
