5.0

Just traded my motorcycle for a 94 mustang 5.0 with a couple of mods, it needs some work so I am doing what I can to fix the problems.
First my transmission pan is leaking and I bought a new filter and gasket plus some form a gasket and it's still leaking.
Any tricks of the trade that could help me fix it, or should I just go to the junk yard and see if I can find another pan?
Any help would be appreciated thank you...ImageUploadedByAG Free1390429405.052822.jpg

Welcome to the forum.
What bike did you trade?
Good call on going for a foxbody stang packing a 5.0. it's probably one of the best mustangs to be made.

it was but your 94 is based on a reworked FOX platform which is why sometimes people get confused. But your SN-95 is wider than a FOX and only uses about 40% of the parts. Similar but not the same

as for your original question, i'd try finding a junked pan and if that doesnt work you;re going to need to do some forensic investigation because the leak may not actually be coming from the pan...

welcome aboard!

Thanks guys, I was also was looking into a scanner. Do you know which one is better for reading and erasing codes?
And does it matter if it has a few minor upgrades such as msd ignition, shorty headers, cam, and 373 gears? Also I asked the guy I traded for my bike what gears it has and he said 373 "he thinks".
How can I make sure what gears it really has? Thank you
