Jay Leno meets the 2015 Ford Mustang [video]

While the 2015 Ford Mustang has been revealed publicly, it still won't be available to take home with you until late 2014, unless of course you are Jay Leno.

Jay Leno is a lucky man. He gets the 2015 Ford Mustang delivered to his massive garage, along with the Mustang 1 concept and two of Ford's most important people, Lee Iscocca, the designer of the first-gen Mustang, and Dave Pericak, chief engineer of the latest version of the pony-car.

Leno doesn't get to drive the 2015 Mustang GT prototype, but he gets to check it out in great detail with Pericak with him.

Check out the 25 minute episode of Jay Leno's garage for plenty of details on the new Mustang, and plenty of memories of the pony-car's heritage.

Well, he didn't actually get to drive the Mustang so that says something about how exclusive Ford is trying to make the Mustang before it is actually on sale.

more important than Jay Leno is the fact the Lee Iacocca showed up as well. Grandfather of the Mustang right there, a true living legend. You deserve a bit of respect when you birthed the Mustang and the Mini Van

I was surprised they didn't let him, yet some car makers put reviewers behind the wheel of test mules that are covered up a lot inside and out.

Still a great video and being able to hear Jay's opinion of it.
