Lee Marvin was an Academy Award-winning actor, and also the owner of a Ford Mustang GT500 KR. He won his Oscar in 1965 for his dual roles in Cat Ballou, just FYI.



More importantly, now you could own his Mustang. The Mustang has just about every option possible. It has a 428 cubic inch police interceptor engine that produces 335 HP.

THe Mustang was used by Marvin as a daily driver for four years. In 1970 he gave it to his gardener who left it parked mostly. It was then restored about 30 years ago.

It will be going on sale at the Russo and Steele auction in Scotsdale, Arizona in January 2014. It is expected to fetch between $160,000 and $210,000. So have your pocket book ready.

Don't know about that hood scoop. Kinda off.

The hood scoop isn't for everyone, but I kinda like it. I like the B-pillar that stays up even with the hood down too. It would be awesome to buy a Mustang off the auction block at some point in my life.

I'd love to own a 1st gen sometime before my time is done here. But at the prices I've been seeing.. Probably not going to happen.
