2015 Ford Mustang Clay Models Leaked?

One of the most anticipated cars of the coming year is the 2015 Ford Mustang, the sixth generation of the iconic muscle car and the first to be sold in global markets.
Pictured above is just some of a handful of photos sourced by enthusiast site Mustang 6G that are alleged to depict clay models for the 2015 Ford Mustang, presumably being shaped at a Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] studio somewhere.

While the clay models are far from complete, they do provide numerous hints towards the styling of the new Mustang, if they do in fact depict the new Mustang.

these mustang clay models don't show much at all, seems like they just started carving into them. at least from what we see above we can see the rear 1/4 panel/fender area cut line is higher up. good move on Ford's part for a more modern look.

any idea how soon we can expect updated pictures of these S550 clay models?

Hard to tell to be honest with you. Shape is noticeably different than the existing Mustang

seems like you are on the right track, a recent car and driver magazine mustang rendering shows the high rear quarter panel cut line/belt line.

these guys create their renderings base off of solid info, so it's legit, prob close to the real thing

Well see what they come up with but I hope they just dont come up with a design for the mustang that is way ahead of its time. Trying to be modern is one thing but changing the overall appearance with euro influence is trouble. That is what I see in the lines.

you have to give ford some credit for trying this. They have a crap load of audience and previous owners to impress. This could easy make or break them. But I find mustang owners are hard to please anyways. I would like to see the full size scale but a smaller one would be nice some time soon.
