I'm thinking about trying to head down to the 2013 American Muscle Mustang Show this year. The event is being held on August 11, 2013 at the Delaware County Community College in Media. Last year there were over 1,200 Mustangs at the show and this year the event's organizers are expecting more than 1,400!!! Attendance is supposed to reach over 4,000.

OK, so besides the cars, why else should you go to this show?

Every year the show supports a charity and this year the charity is Alex's Lemonade Stand which raises money to fight childhood cancer. The American Muscle girls will be in attendance so there is something to look at other than the Mustangs too. Beyond that there are awards and trophies for cars in each class, raffles and giveaways, and a huge market of aftermarket parts vendors.

Has anyone ever been? I hope that I can get my act together and get down there.

drove down a couple years ago with a buddy in his foxbody, it was a greaattttt time. lots of good ol boys, very knowledgeable crowd. really a fantastic event I recommend attending

I already see a couple saleen mustangs, don't see many where I live. Speaking about Saleen mustangs, is one expected for the next generation Mustang?

That is alot of mustangs.
I've heard about the show but I've never been. Maybe I'll go one day.
