Mustang Returning to Australia?

With the new Mustang S550 becoming a global vehicle, Mustang may be returning to the land down under. If Australia does get the S550 it will only be available as a V8, the 6 and turbo 4 are not expected to make the journey. For the first time in 50 years Australia will get a spec built right hand drive Mustang. MSRP is expected to come in around $50,000

I am happy for them. Now they can finally have some reputable Ford power on the streets. I was afraid most countries beside the states was just going to get the four cylinder turbo eco boost.

V8 power for the win!

Right hand drive Mustang...

Interesting it's not everyday to see a right hand drive domestic but that is the only way it would work for them in Australia.

Spread the love baby! Mustang nation is becoming huge.

I would love to see how the mustangs would turn out and look with different styles of modifications. Mostly in the exterior of course.

You know what else, is the different builds. East versus west on engine builds later on. It's a bout time the Mustang was known at a global level.

Mustang is such an iconic car in North America. I just always assumed it had the same rep worldwide, or at least in more Western nations. I guess the muscle car is really an American thing though. The Mustang is so cool. I don't see how people in other countries wouldn't also fall in love with it.

Ahh, down here we have had our share of muscle, from 1967 XR GT thru to the ultimate XY GTHO Phase 3, and some others , unfourtunately, some one in Detroit decides on what we can have , bit of a bummer
